January Favourites ♡

Hey Everyone,

So as it is now the end of January- which has gone way too fast and it only feels like yesterday that it was Christmas -I decided to do my January favourites. Throughout this month I haven’t really tried anything brand new so I have stayed in my comfort zone and kept to the products that I know and trust, as well as being reunited with some old favourites and I found it particularly difficult to whittle it down to just a few favourites.

So my first favourite is MAC’s Velvet Teddy, I have worn this constantly over January (and December). It’s a stunning light brown nude colour and is probably one of my all-time favourites. Despite it being a matte lipstick I don’t find it drying at all which is an obvious bonus! I also love this lipstick because it compliments my fair skin really well. The pigmentation is great and overall it is a lovely everyday lipstick to have in your collection. As it being more of a high-end product it’s definitely on the pricier side for a lipstick, however you get what you pay for and I think £15 is an amazing price for this lipstick and I definitely recommend.IMG_2663

My Second favourite is a piece of jewellery; it is the Anna Saccone Star Sign Necklace. I have the gold Libra one and I just can’t stop wearing it. I find that it goes with everything and again it really compliments my fair skin tone. I am unsure as to what the price was for this necklace as it was a Christmas present from my parents. I have never really worn necklaces but since receiving this I don’t seem to take it off.

My next favourite for this month is the new TV series Scream Queens, starring Emma Roberts; it’s all about a sorority with an unknown serial killer constantly terrorising them… The first season has now finished and it is clearly ended as a set up for the second season (which is always exciting). I was hooked and constantly anticipated the next episode. For UK viewers you can catch this on E4 or 4 On Demand and I highly recommend this to any Pretty Little Liars fans!

So my fourth favourite his month has been the One Direction album- Made in the AM. This is album is just amazing (not fangirling or anything), there is such a good range of songs for every mood and they are all just perfect. My favourite songs at the moment are definitely Wolves, Perfect and End of the Day. This album is I think the best album the boys have done and I just cannot wait for them to come back and make even more amazing albums!IMG_2659

So my fifth and final favourite of January is a Smoothie, I have always loved to drink smoothies as they always leave me feeling really refreshed and healthy, they also fill me up when I need a snack. So this month I seem to have been gravitating to the same recipe. This recipe is one of my all-time favourites; it is made of Banana, Mango, Orange, Pineapple, honey yogurt and a small bit of ice.

So that was my January favourites! I hope you all enjoyed them and i hope to continue doing them every month from now on.
